Allow Me to Introduce Myself

My name is Greg and I’m going to be breathing life into the Pics n Motion Web site. Before I do that, Mark thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself.

Mark and I met many years ago in junior high school. We hung around many of the same people and as time went on we began to realize that we both loved video games. Fast forward to the present day and we keep in touch thanks to the wonders of modern social networking, despite living many miles away from each other.

So who am I? Well, most recently I ran the Website and Youtube channel “Digital Pixel Cafe”. The channel was growing and I was satisfied with the Website but the workload was a bit too much for one man. As a result, I shut it all down.

It was some time after this that Mark approached me and asked for assistance with his Pics n Motion project. And here we are.

What can you expect from me? In short, reviews, retrospectives, opinion pieces, and more. You can also count on me to provide commentary on podcasts as well as possible live streams and/or Let’s Play videos.

Atari 7800
My video game journey started here…

My gaming history goes something like this: I first fell in love with games when my cousin received the original Nintendo and we played the landmark title that was Super Mario Bros. Shortly after this, I received an Atari 7800 with 28 games for Christmas. The gamer in me was born. The next console to enter my life was the Super Nintendo. This was also the first console I paid for with my own hard-earned cash. At this point, I discovered the majesty that is Zelda, Super Metroid, and Chrono Trigger. I never had a falling out with gaming. It has remained a central part of my life since the very beginning and this is unlikely to ever change. Some of my favorite consoles include the Super Nintendo, Sega Dreamcast, and Xbox 360 but I have a soft spot for just about every console.

I am really looking forward to this endeavor and I hope you are too. Happy gaming.Samus Aran
